I was in a bar waiting in line to use the men's room, and there was a poster on the wall that said "Hemingway said always do sober the things you said you'd do when you were drunk. That way, you'd learn to keep your mouth shut". Well that sounded like a great idea for a song. I found another quote I liked, and used that. It's a short song; it says what it needs to say and it's over. I often use it for a public service announcement about drinking in moderation.
